SKIN CARE TIPS:

Hi Plums, I wanted to post this beacause it is going to be very helpful for all of you. It's stuff theya lways tell us but that we never really pay attentio to, so after reading this, think twice before doing or not doing any of the following.

1. Smoking: the chemicals in cigarettes not only destroy your lungs and heart, but theya lso affect your skin, causing it to look dry, wrinkly, and with spots. You may not notcie it now, but you will in afew years. 
2. Not drinking water: When we don't consume enough liquids, the water in our organism is primarily used for vital functions. Skin isn't included in this category, therefore this will be noticed in our dry hair, lips, skin, etc. This will lead to wrinkles and scaly skin. 

3. Sleeping with makeup on: We've always been told this, the worst part is that it's true- When you don't remove your makeup, your pores close y bacterias are acumulated which is what leads to zits. Besides, makeup substances deteriorate your skin, thus during night your skin cells regenerate and makeup on does't allow it.
4. Not using products for your type of skin: If you have sensible skin, strictly stick to products for sensible skin, because using other types of products (for exaple for dry or oily skin) will unbalance your skin and cause reactions on it.
5. Not exfoliating or hydrating it: Try to exfoliate your skin once a week to remove all the dead cells. Add a face cream, especially on winter time; on sumer try using one with SPF. Use this everyday. 
6. Not using solar protection: Sun causes wrinkles, spots, and skin cancer. Use SPF everyday; there aer face lotions and7or makeup tht already include SPF, and that are not that oily.
7. Sleepin late: Now I'm not saying you can't ever do this, we all wanna have a little fun, right? Haha. But when you sleep late everyday, your body feels tired and this causes it to dehydrate, therefore your skin gets dry. Besides, your body doesn't have enough time to regenerate cells.
8. Not washing your face: Do it twice a day: in the morning with just water and at night with a face soap. *Tip: try applying olive oil every night on the contour of your eyes before going to bed, this will hydrate your skin, adn help you prevent wrinkles.
9. Popping your zits: This is a terrible idea because you can worsen the infection and leave a scar or mark which you might regret forever. 
10. Using makeup with toxic substances: try looking for an organic, natural, or dermatological option that no cause damages on your skin.
